A topic that needed to be mentioned and was worth explaining on the difference between ‘get’ and ‘load’ type methods. Load type methods are useful within a rich domain design, providing an optimal approach when working with Entity Domain Objects.

Another long while since the last posting in June. This time The Service layer chapter has been introduced. Details of the use of the Domain Factory has now been introduced in this chapter, making a better fit. A peek at Visual Web Developer 2010 Express

Java example and site related updates

The Simple Messaging Example under the Java Examples section has now been updated. This is now completed. It may be long winded, but gives a step-by-step example of coding a simple example using Domain Driven Design.

Also the web site’s font size has been increased slightly to make it easier to read and the inclusion of the Ubuntu countdown logo.
